Invite your co-parent
Send an invite by email, by text or any app, or share your family code. Your subscription covers them.
Inviting your co-parent needs a subscription, and that subscription covers them too. They never pay to join.
On the web
- On Today, find Invite your co-parent, or go to Settings and then Co-parent.
- To have Clearly send it, enter Their email and click Send invite.
- To send it yourself, use Copy invite, Text it (on a phone) or Share…, or copy your Family code.
Clearly reminds them after 3 days, and again the day before the invite expires. An emailed invite lasts 30 days.
While an invite is waiting you can Resend, Change email or Cancel invite. Only one emailed invite can be waiting at a time. Your family code keeps working even if you cancel an emailed invite.
In the iPhone app
- On Today, tap Invite, or open Settings (your initial at the top right) and go to Co-parent.
- Choose Text, Email or Another app, or tap Invite code to copy it.
What they get
The invite contains a link like getclearly.app/join/ABC234 and your 6-character family code. Tapping the link on their phone opens Clearly with the code filled in. They can also enter the code by hand. See Join your co-parent's family.
When they join, you're told, and Settings shows you as connected.
