One subscription covers both parents
Whichever parent pays covers the other, on the web and iPhone. You can't be charged twice for the same family.
A Clearly subscription belongs to the family. Whichever of you pays, it covers you both, wherever you use Clearly. It doesn't matter whether it was bought on the web or in the iPhone app.
What the other parent sees
- On the web: [Name]'s subscription covers your family. and no plans to buy.
- On iPhone: Your family is covered, and Settings shows Paid by your co-parent.
A co-parent who joins after the subscription started is covered as soon as they join.
No double charges
If your family is already covered, Clearly won't let either of you buy a second subscription on the web. If it happens anyway, see If you both paid.
Sharing the cost
The parent who pays can add each charge to Expenses so you split it. See Share the cost of Clearly through Expenses.
If the paying parent leaves Clearly
The family keeps access to the end of the period that was paid for. After that, either of you can subscribe.
