Change or end a professional's access

The parent who invited a professional can change what they see. Who can end access depends on their role.

iPhone appWeb app

Open Professionals (the sidebar on the web, Settings on iPhone) and find the professional under Who has access.

Change what they see

Use Change access (or Change what they can see on iPhone). Only the parent who invited them can do this. Your co-parent is told.

End access

Use End access, or Cancel invite for one they haven't accepted yet.

Either parent can end access for these roles, because they work with both of you:

  • Mediator
  • Parenting coordinator
  • Guardian ad litem
  • Custody evaluator

Only the parent who invited them can end access for these, because they're one parent's own:

  • Family lawyer
  • Therapist
  • Coach
  • Social worker
  • Other professional

After access ends

They don't see anything new from that moment. They keep a read-only copy of your record as it was then, like a case file. Both parents are told.

Access also ends on its own on the end date, if you set one.
